Terms of Service

    Last updated: January 15, 2026

    1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ProFund's peer-to-peer fundraising platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

    2. Description of Service

ProFund provides a platform that enables organizations and individuals to create fundraising campaigns, recruit fundraisers, and collect donations. We facilitate the transaction between donors and campaign organizers but are not a party to any fundraising agreement between users.

    3. User Accounts

    Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information as necessary.

    Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

    4. Campaign Guidelines

    Campaign organizers agree to:

    • Provide truthful and accurate information about their campaign
    • Use funds only for the stated purpose of the campaign
    • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
    • Respond to donor inquiries in a timely manner
    • Not engage in fraudulent or misleading activities

We reserve the right to remove any campaign that violates these guidelines or our policies.

    5. Donations

    Donor Acknowledgment

Donors acknowledge that donations are made to campaign organizers, not to ProFund. ProFund does not guarantee that donations will be used for any particular purpose.

    Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable. In cases of fraud or campaign violations, refunds may be issued at our sole discretion. Contact support for refund inquiries.

    6. Fees and Payment

ProFund charges platform fees and payment processing fees as outlined on our Pricing page. Fees are subject to change with notice. Campaign organizers are responsible for understanding and accepting applicable fees before creating a campaign.

    7. Prohibited Activities

    Users may not:

    • Create campaigns for illegal purposes
    • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
    • Impersonate others or provide false information
    • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

Users retain ownership of content they post but grant ProFund a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.

    9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

    10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROFUND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

    11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ProFund and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

    12. Termination

    13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
